The Line

Take it back.

Changed your mind? Your 6-digit retraction code was read to you at the end of your call. Enter it here. This is permanent.

Retraction code

What exactly gets deleted?

Your public message is removed from the archive immediately. The raw recording is also deleted. The hashed record of the call (not your number — just a hash) stays in our system for rate-limiting purposes.

I lost my code. Now what?

We can't help you recover it — that's by design. The code was the only link between you and your message. Without it, we genuinely cannot find your recording. If your message needs to come down urgently, use the report form and explain the situation — a human will review it.

Can I retract after 90 days?

No. The raw recording is destroyed after 90 days regardless. After that, the public transcript and masked audio are permanent. Plan accordingly.
